That's how I feel.
So, besides the general excitement of seeing Medra tomorrow I have the most amazing heart stoping, dance around the room, skip and sing all around the city of Boston news.
SO the first bit (not nearly as exciting as the next thing in comparison) I finally got a hold of the head of my department and asked her about costume internships this summer. She said the department generally doesn't like rising juniors to do internships, but I told her about my internship at Trinity and she told me to contact the woman who's incharge of internships and tell her I talked to her (Sondra Grace the head of the department) and that my name should be added to the list of students for an internship at the Boston Ballet. So I did. And it turns out I'm one of 2 people interested. So depending on how many people they're looking for dictates my chances.
But that pales to this.
My very old friend Emma emails me this:
OMG look at this! (scroll down a bit for the message) My RA from last year, Erin - she's the sweetest person ever, I think you'd like her - sent this to our floor. She graduated last year and is working in film, and
happens to have a friend on the new Charlie Kaufman movie, for which they need a COSTUME INTERN. Ooooh. Thought you might be interested. Read about it, I'm sure you could email this girl Julie or Erin herself (she and I are friends on Facebook, if you want to find her that way - full name is Erin Moore) if you were interested. Yes, it's here in the city, but it sounds really cool, so I figured I'd pass it along to you anyway.

So I emailed the contact at the company with my resume and experience. She emails me back telling me she sent it to the costume designer. Within 30 mins I get this:
Hi Elizabeth,
My name is Melissa Toth and I am the costume designer for SYNECDOCHE, NY. Julia Berg forwarded me your resume, and I would definitely be interested in meeting with you to discuss the possibility of an internship with the film.
We are setting up meetings for next week at the office. Could you possibly come in on Wednesday? Let me know when you can.
