You can count on me

I had every intention of going out to either the library or going food shopping today but alas, I'm in on account of being under house arrest---or so it feels.

The construction has (last I checked) blocked off both entrances so for me to go out is fine, but to return with anything is near impossible. Now I'm just pissed. I'm not happy that I'm being woken up at 6:30 or 8:30, but they're fixing the house so I'm dealing. But when I woke up (at 8AM) to find my windows covered by a tarp and shingles falling, and the back entrance still covered in shit.

So instead I spent my day watching CSI: and am now watching Shakespeare adaptations in honor of his 466th (approx.) birthday today. Finished Much Ado About Nothing, and am now watching As You Like It while working on my final hat project.

Jess & I finished our work out, and just showered. All clean and feeling productive!

Just emailed the teacher for the online continuing ed class I wanna take as well as my History of Textiles professor who offered to be my Independent Study teacher.

The plan for today:
-Finish post (dur)
-Make shopping list for Trader Joe's.
-Leave with Jess and run errands around Back Bay. Refill my script, Trader Joe's, etc...
-Bring Aztec reading with me to be productive.

Come home, more reading and take another stab at my sketches for Millenery Design.

Then CHUCK at 8PM & Castle at 10PM. Good productive day me thinks.

Yup.

It's 2AM and the fucking mouse is on the opposite side of the room, chewing on something. So I am sitting in my bed, grabbing folders with old Pattern Drafting jacket patterns, books, and notebooks and throwing them in the direction of the noise of the mouse.

Tomorrow I was going to dick around before therapy but I plan on cleaning the FUCK out of my room instead.

OMFG.

HAPPY 500th POST!

So I tried to post about this when it happened but LJ wasn't loading then I got distracted...and so, as some of you may know per my text, I met David Beckham over a week ago...

On the 7th of August I was working the morning shift (7:45AM-12:45PM) and I was on the second floor when the lead Specialist (Scotty) comes over to me and tells me David Beckham is in the store. So, I, in my naturally well spoken way, go (  'No shit.'  )

In other news, I finally named my computer. It's Fitzwilliam, Fitzy for short. Yeah, I went there.

My class is over, and my dress is finished, minus the details. I tweaked it from the origional pattern which is this one:



Mine is all one fabric, the overlay part is a separate piece that can tie on and I also made a little bag. I bought some beads and I'm going to add a little beading to the neckline, I'll post once I do!
